Back from Holland, Had a really packed schedule and went to many places in 4 days.
Day 1 – Amsterdam city ~
Day 2 – Zaanse Schans (windmill) , Volendam (fishing villages), Marken
Day 3- Rotterdam, Keukenhof (Tulip garden), Den Haag ~, Madurodam, Scheveningen beach
Day 4- Utrechet ~ Domtoren, canal tour
Hostel was in a boat that was very interesting and special experience, good breakfast.
Dressed up traditional Dutch costume, quite a nice dress but difficult to walk with the wooden shoes.
The Scheveningen beach in Den Haag was so……….beautiful, watched sunset and had a seafood meal there.
The famous Keukenhof wasn’t as good as I though it would be, maybe was too cold, so flowers not grow, but there were some pretty Tulips.
Red light district…..um…..interesting place.
Overall, enjoyed the trip although didn’t like Amsterdam very much, very small but all other places were great. Thanks Winnie for such wonderful present!!
